Consider that technology allows human communication.
We have gone from being able to write letters, to being able to call long distance, to being able to write free emails, to being able to chat in real time, to being able to do free video calling...pretty much in one generation.
That is the power of the internet.
But when you see your friends in person, it is still more high fidelity than even video chat.
So technology has improved communication, but still nothing beats real life interaction.
Remember that.
The downside comes when people begin to think that the technological solutions for some of the things are equal or better than the originals.
The original is the highest quality, most durable, most expensive thing. Highest fidelity.
The reason the technological solution exists is because it is cheaper that way.
Almost always.
