Grow food.
Have room to spend in the sun.
Even yardwork is an asset. -> socially acceptable excuse to be outside and doing manual labor (exercising)
The reason manual labor gets a bad reputation is because when you do it for a living, you sometimes need to do it past the point of safety. You may venture into the zone of being injured.
When you are doing it for exercise or fun, just stop when you start to get too tired.
There is a certain amount of effort I call farmers effort. Being able to do something for hours. Ex. benching 225 is great. But how about lift, carry/walk, and stack 30-40 lbs bags for an hour? Or 2 hours. Or 4 hours? They are a little different forms of strength / output / work.
